How did this begin and what makes me tick?

 Having spent a majority of my working life trying to earn enough money to feel ‘like I’ve made it’, a little nudge from my husband made me realise I would only have ‘made it’ when I loved what I did. So I took the leap in 2022 and started gardening professionally.

What makes me tick?

It's the little things. Little fluffy white bottoms of bumblebees disappearing into a foxglove bloom, soft feathers floating about in a breeze, those little caterpillars that hang from an invisible thread as if floating in mid air, seeing friends and family laughing so hard they're trying to catch a breath, gazing at my dog lying with her legs in the air each evening, with the most satisfied, contented grin on her face.....the list goes on....

For me, it's not so much about buying the most expensive bottle of champagne (although a little Bailey's goes down well every now and again!) but simply enjoying what life has to offer, in the here and now.
